A Note From Marta
Hello!
My name is marta & I'm currently a stay at home / working wife + mama that is living in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and three little boys -- Felix, Marcus, and Alexander.
I love all things related to coffee, literature, fashion, photography, home decor, film, history, tea, theology, health communication, beauty, documentaries, graphic design, minimalism and earthy hues.
I started this blog because I was finding myself in an odd transition stage of life where I was learning to combine the old me with a new me. It was a time where I had experienced being a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a friend, but never a mother.
Motherhood is an experience that is truly unique and when I first embarked on this journey, I was feeling rather alone. Before having my son, I tried to prepare for the transition stage as well as I could, but it proved to be much more than I expected. Feeling overwhelmed by my emotions, I did what I always do -- start a new project because how better to distract myself than thrusting my left over energy into something new.
So I started this blog and hoped it could serve as a digital dairy where I could document my journey as a new mom and track my progress along the way, but as soon as I plugged into blogging, I realized that it was turning into so much more -- I was finding my voice again and connecting with women from all over the globe and building relationships that started to produce a little bit of revenue. It was and continues to be such thrill.
I hope to uphold this blog by consistently sprinkling a little bit of my personality while I weave together a blog that encompasses a multitude of things -- motherhood, family, beauty, faith, fashion & everything else in between. I hope to do that all while building a strong [ community + network ] online.
I'm extremely blessed and grateful for the opportunities that blogging have given me and recognize that I am nothing without you -- my readers. I want to personally thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope you find it's content worth reading and that you stay awhile.
