 hello hello -- hope you're having a happy first official week of summer!

I thought it would be fun to do a little round up of products that I have been eyeing, since I've opted to make the round up and review posts to become more seasonal type of posts. Today's topic is beauty products that I am eyeing this summer. I am not a big makeup girly, but that doesn't mean that I don't love an occasional splurge. So, without further ado, here is my summer wishlist.

as you can tell, it's the summer of body mists. if there is one thing about me is that I loooooove a good body mist, but the silver lining to that is that I'm super pick about scents. The only hack I have to resolve that is to buy the travel size first, that way you're not spending a pretty penny on a full size item OR try to go into the store and do a sniff test before purchase if possible. but alas, that's my little round up. I plan on slowly purchasing some of these and reporting back. until next time, xoxo.

summer is right around the corner, so it's only fitting that I curate a mood board to ring in the season! This season is going to be about spending time outside and enjoying all the seasonal produce. Like last time, I will adding a personal wishlist of summer items / lines that I love. I find it so fun to curate lists, so you already know ... if I see a chance to make one, I'm going to take it.

My Latest Endeavor -- Drawing!

hello, my dear readers! 

today's post is not going to be the regular guide or round up, but rather a little share. I've been having so much fun lately with -- drum roll please -- digital drawing. I've always been so intimidated by drawing and have followed artists on all platforms with a hint of envy at their talent, but last month, I started to doodle on my iPad with my husband's iPencil. it was so fun, and I started to draw every day.

I am no artist and the drawings are mediocre at best, but still, I am proud of my work. it's the fact that they look decent for me. HAHA. y'all believe me when I say, I have always wanted to be an artist, and it was something I avoided trying because I already knew I would be terrible.

buuuut, after trying my hand at needle felting and sculpting, I decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did! drawing is so relaxing and though I'm not amazing at it, I'm not as terrible as I thought I would be, and I'm going to count that as a win. 

I thought I'd share some of my work with ya'll and document the journey on the blog and see how I progress as I practice my art every day. I've also started a little Instagram page @fiddlemoth, if anyone is interested in following along this endeavor more closely.
