What started as a digital diary to document a newfound journey as a stay at home mom / wife has quickly evolved into my own little corner on the internet where I share all that life brings my way -- the good, the bad, and everything in between. Thanks for stopping by; I hope you stay awhile!
hello! for today's blogmas post, I thought I'd share our book wish list. I've broken it down to three sections -- books for the schoolroom, for our family library and for my personal collection.
* as always, some links are... you guessed it -- affiliate!
We love books in this house and this list is ever evolving, but here are the ones we currently have our eyes on.
this list is always getting things added to it, but for now, I think I'll wrap it up. I really could go on and on about books that I would love to have -- especially when it comes to the vintage ones. there are so many treasures out there!
OH. just wanted to say happy thanksgiving to everyone since that is tomorrow! I won't be posting anything tomorrow, but will have a post up friday. so, until then, stay safe and warm!

hello there friends, today, I'm sharing books that are in our line up next month to help ring in winter and the holiday season! If you've been here for a while, you know that one of my dreams is to have a built in bookshelf on an entire wall in my home, so I am constantly looking for books to add to my collection. the books I am sharing today are books that we already own and love.
*I know you already know this, but some links are affiliate!
also, noting that we're back to the lists. widgets are nice, but there is something about browsing a list that cannot be beat. I'll try to add a widget when I can, but a lot of boutiques and small shops can't have their items added, so that's what makes the lists my favorite option!
hello again. welcome to another day of blogmas! friends, it's thanksgiving week and we're inching closer to December -- just 10 more days! and you know what that means -- a lot of christmas themed parties are in the works. Lots of baking, holiday dinners, and time spent with those we love and care about!
So here's a little post dedicated to all the holiday kitchen things: pans, cookbooks and serve/tableware!
*all links are affiliate!
also, as you may notice, I opted to use widgets in this post to shake things up! instead of a graphic + item list, just click on the photo and go directly to the item. I prefer the item list because places like Amazon or small shops don't work on widget sites, but today, I've linked only major retailers.

annnnnd, that's a wrap for today. hope you enjoyed this little holiday round up. I'll see you tomorrow!
hello friends, it's another day of blogmas and today we're talking about stocking stuffers for kids. like I mentioned in the adult stocking stuffer post, I love to gift practical things in stocking and it's no different for kids -- socks, underwear, undershirts and pjs are always contenders!
*do I need to even say anything? some links are affiliate!
this year, I'm doing things a little bit different taking a themed
approach -- each stocking will encompass things needed to create a cozy
Christmas eve. each child will get a pajama set (that's a traditional
stocking item at this point), fuzzy socks, a bath bomb, small jar of hot
chocolate, and a new slumberkin!
I love having the kids open up their stocking on Christmas Eve because it's the perfect way to sprinkle joy into the day as we wait for the 25th. I've also found that the kids love on the things in the
stockings a bit more if we open them on one day and then have presents
the next especially when mama sneaks in some practical gifts!
happy thursday, friends. welcome back to the blog. we've made it half way through blogmas! how exciting -- we're only 38 days away from Christmas. I'm super glad I opted to start blogmas earlier this year because it gives us all plenty of time to plan and shop.
today, we're talking stocking stuffers! growing up, I didn't
do stockings, but it's quickly becoming one of my favorite parts of
Christmas. It's the perfect place to gift trinkets and
practical items which everyone tends to gloss over.
*you already know what I am gonna say -- some links are affiliate!
generally, the basics like underwear, socks, thermal pajamas are all perfect for
stockings. for the ladies, I tend to add in some lush self care items
because every girl deserves a little pampering every now and then. for
men, I opt for self care items that they may not have bought for
themselves like a shower steamer or bath bomb. I also like to
incorporate items that speak to the person's individual hobbies and
interests for a more personalized approach. in short, my main thought
process is gift things that people will want to reach for after the
holidays are over.
hello hello, welcome back to blogmas! as promised, it's time for more gift guides :) Can you believe that we've made it to day eleven? I've been having a blast, and I hope you've been enjoying these posts as well!
*here is that little disclaimer about some links being affiliate!
today, we're talking all about HIM; the men in our lives -- our dads, brothers, sons, etc. they're often the hardest to shop for, so here are some ideas!
